These terms cover the use of this site and any recipe order or custom catch commission placed through it. Using the site means you accept them.
You are welcome to read, save and print these pages for your own use. Please do not copy them for resale or present the recipes and methods here as your own work.
A request sent through the site is an enquiry, not a finished agreement. An order is confirmed once we have agreed the dish, the price and the timing in writing.
We take custom commission orders in small numbers each season. If we cannot prepare a particular fish dish well, or cannot make it in time for your gathering, we will say so rather than take the work on.
Prices are confirmed before we begin preparing anything, and a deposit is usually agreed at the start. The balance is due before your finished dish or fresh catch is sent or delivered.
Colour, texture and the exact size of each fillet or catch vary a little from piece to piece, and photographs cannot show those qualities exactly. Those differences are part of the authentic lakeside cooking experience, not a fault.
We pack each piece ourselves and send it once it is properly prepared and ready. If something arrives damaged, tell us within a few days and we will repair or replace it at no extra cost.
A dish made to your own specification cannot be returned unless it is faulty, since it was prepared for you alone.
All recipes, photographs and cooking notes on this site are ours. Feel free to use them for your table—just give us a nod if you share them elsewhere.
We're confident in every recipe we publish and will help troubleshoot if something goes wrong in your kitchen. We can't be responsible for results affected by ingredient quality, equipment differences or cooking conditions beyond the recipe.
